Permanent Make up Pre Care Instructions

  • Do not work out 24 hours before procedure.
  • NO alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before procedure.
  • Avoid sun and tanning on your face two weeks prior to procedure.
  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before procedure.
  • Avoid Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, etc), “Hair, Skin, Nail” supplements two weeks prior to procedure.
  • Discontinue Chemical and Laser Peels, microdermabrasions, skin care containing Retin-A, Hydroxy Acids, and any chemical exfoliant or “brightening” skincare atleast 6 weeks prior (Once your brows have healed, you must avoid use of these products on forehead area procedure to prevent premature fading).
  • Botox and filler on the forehead, temple, and eye area should be avoided 2 months prior to procedure for those who do not regularly receive injectables. If you regularly receive injections, 2 weeks pre or post is sufficient.
  • No brow waxing, tinting, or threading one week prior (the more natural hair growth you have, the better!).
  • For lash line enhancement services, please arrive with eyes free of eye make up and have any mascara thoroughly removed.
  • ADDITIONALLY for Lip Blushing –
  • Absolutely no injections of Novocaine shall be administered for 10 days prior to the service.
  • A minimum of 6 months post lip injection/filler is required before your lip blushing appointment. This is to prevent migration of the pigment. Please contact your injector if you are planning both services to see what their requirement is for wait time to receive lip injections post lip blushing.
  • For lip blushing clients that have ANY history of cold sores/fever blisters/herpes, even if as a child, contact your physician and request a prescription for an antiviral such as Zorvirax, Valtrex, or Favmir. Take for 2 days prior to the appointment, the day of the procedure and 2 days after the appointment as directed and repeated on all visits.
  • Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle. Pre-Care Instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessing bleeding during the procedure will dilute the pigment color and lead to poor or uneven retention. Additional sessions would then be necessary to correct.
